Going into it, I did not relish the car-buying process, but I have to say it was actually enjoyable to buy a car with Hubert Vester Honda. Y'all were straight forward and attentive every step of the way, and I feel like we ended up with a deal everyone could feel good about. I have always loved Hondas and know what great products they are, so when you add in great service it's an outstanding combination.
I dealt with five Honda dealerships through this process, and witheach one--except yours--there were times when I felt either that people were not being honest with me or simply didn't care that much whether I bought a car from them. I had reservations about driving to Wilson initially, but it was more than worth it both for the deal I got and the people I worked with.

I received an e-mail quote from you very quickly and also a quote from another Honda dealer. Your initial quote was lower than the initial quote from the other dealer. This is the first time I have bought a car without actually doing it the old-fashioned way of sitting around in the ‘cube’ while the salesman and the sales manager do whatever they do. I like the direct approach of the telephone calls and email interchange. I have to admit everyone was amazed that you folk would deliver the new car to my house with a full tank of gas, in addition to provided the best out of the door price on the car. Delivering the car to the customer is an extremely nice touch. Both you and Mickey worked well with me as well as the service manager. I know you do this several times a day but I never felt like I was just another number in you queue. I appreciate the personal touch your staff provided throughout. After this I may not wait another 22 years to buy another new car…. ;-) Already have over 800 miles on the car and will take it to Wilmington to visit my son this weekend. 37 mpg on the road. Nice. Janel and George, Tonya, Victoria and I have been very pleased with our new CR-V. We have taken a few trips allowing us to really enjoy the vehicle. It is a remarkable vehicle. The features, comfort, and fuel efficiency (one trip 31.8 mpg 4 adults, 2 child , luggage, and AC) are well beyond our expectations. It has been a joy to drive and has performed flawlessly.
Our experience with George Myers and Hubert Vester Honda was very pleasant. George was very knowledgeable regarding the Honda product line. When we arrived at the dealership we were not 100% sure which vehicle would fit our needs. George was very patient and really listened to our needs. He spent the necessary time with us while we looked at the Pilot, CR-V, and Odyssey. He answered all of our questions allowing us to concentrate on determining the best vehicle for our needs. He was very professional, helpful, and let us know that he is available should we need him. We feel that George is very dependable and will always there to assist us with whatever we need. Our experience with the finance/service agreement department was also very pleasant. We never felt any pressure during the time we spent at the dealership.
I look forward to maintaining this relationship and will definitely make Hubert Vester Honda my first stop for future automotive needs (I think a RidgeLine may be in my future!). |

We certainly had a bad taste in our mouth from a previous bad experience at a Raleigh dealership. I can honestly say that our experience with Hubert Vester Honda was refreshing. Everybody we dealt with was professional, courteous, and friendly. We did a significant amount of research prior to purchasing the Odyssey and I feel confident that we got a fair and good deal. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the van. If we ever come across friends who are looking to purchase a vehicle, we will encourage them to make the drive over to Hubert Vester.

When I started the process of choosing my next new car, I wasn't even sure whether I wanted a coupe, sedan, or SUV. I did know that I needed to be methodical and thorough in my search – I expected to have to keep the new car for many years. Early in my search, I contacted Janel Buckingham with some questions about a specific car they had in stock. I explained my plans and what I was wanting to do, and noted that I was not in a position to make an immediate decision or purchase. She put me in touch with Mickey Bissett who was very informative and answered my questions quickly. It took me months to whittle my initial list down to a manageable number of vehicles to evaluate with a test-drive: the Toyota Camry Hybrid, the Chevy Malibu, the Nissan Altima, the VW Passat, and of course the Honda Accord. During the process, Janel and Mickey were incredibly patient. They gave me plenty of time to do my research and, in doing so, they ultimately gave me the time to learn what they already knew: the Accord was the best fit for my needs. It's almost as if they had such confidence in their product that they just knew I would come around. After deciding to buy an Accord, I'll admit that they weren't the only dealer I contacted. I like to do business locally if possible, but early on I discovered that the local dealer wanted to play the stereotypical “car salesman” games and any hopes for a good deal soured – they just weren't as professional and respectful as the team at Hubert Vester Honda. I contacted other area dealers over the Internet; many offered competitive prices but didn't have the car I wanted, or they packed the car with unwanted accessories to inflate the price, or they were slow to respond to my emails. Hubert Vester was always responsive to my questions, they had the exact car I wanted, and they offered it to me at a considerable discount even before the final negotiations began. Most importantly, they treated me with respect and consideration. Thanks, Janel and Mickey! I expect to be a Hubert Vester customer for a long, long time!

Mickey was the best car salesman I have ever dealt with, I hate car shopping only because I always felt like the salesman only cared about the sale not the interest of the customer but I have to say Mickey was there throught the whole thing very attentive and informing of what was going on through the whole process.The Finance manager was great in explaining everything from the financing to the warranties, that is normally the most dreaded part of being at the dealership for me.
